BARRINGTON EDUCATION FOUNDATION (BEF) TO HOLD FOURTEENTH ANNUAL TELETHON IN MARCH

The Barrington Education Foundation (BEF) will hold its fourteenth annual Telethon on the evenings of March 1st and 2nd, 2010. Telethon Co-Chairs Clare Connelly and Kate Lentz Hemingway along with Honorary Chair for the BEF Telethon, Brad Faxon, are looking forward to another successful event this year. Proceeds from this annual event contribute more than half of the total funds raised by BEF every year, and are distributed to the Barrington Public Schools in the form of grants for innovative and enriching programs and materials. Since its founding in 1992, BEF has awarded over $670,000 to the Barrington schools.

On March 1st or 2nd, thousands of supporters of BEF will be contacted during the Telethon. Donations may also be made through the United Way campaign (Donor #6281). Pledges and donations, all tax-deductible, will help ensure a more enriching classroom experience for children in all grades in Barrington.
